The Armoy race dates for 2024 are FRIDAY 26th and SATURDAY 27th JULY.
As in all previous years, the application has been made for our dates and they are not confirmed from the MCUI until their Interconference and AGM. This has not been done yet for various reasons but we’d be 99% confident that the Armoy dates will be confirmed for 2024 as applied for.
Insurance; there is a deal on the table and of course it is a little more expensive than last year but all Insurance has risen lately as you’ve probably seen from your own premiums. As per the murmurings, clubs have to the end of January to confirm their event is running and pay the initial Insurance payment which is non refundable if your event later cancels. ARMOY IS CONFIRMING THAT WE WILL RUN OUR EVENT IN 2024.
Club Meeting; There was no club meeting in January but the Directors have meet and will meet again before the February meeting and details of these directors meetings will be shared at the next monthly club meeting.
