Full highlights of the Armoy Road Races (part 1) will be on ITV4 on Wednesday 25th from 8pm for 1 hour, with the second 1 hour programme (part 2) shown on Thursday 26th again at 8pm.
After it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the sleepy village of Armoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, is awoken once more to the sound of racing motorcycles. The annual Armoy Road Race, which takes place each year on the three-mile road circuit, features blind jumps, challenging crests, hairpin corners, mid air overtaking and fast bends and is a must see spectacle.
The Organisers working around the difficult legislation and public health surrounding Covid, still managed to secure all the top riders and put on a full 13 race programme. Now in its 12th running, the Armoy Race of Legends has quickly become established itself as the premier event in the road racing calendar and hosts this year’s first Irish road racing event.
