What’s New: There are a few changes to point out! These are only highlighted for consideration and are not a comprehensive list of all the changes. It is your responsibility as a competitor or team to read the 2026 Armoy regulations to familiarise yourself with all the event regulations.
All HELMETS permitted for 2026 MCUI tarmac events Must comply with the following standards and specification: • Must be manufactured to the following standards:
o ECE 22.05
o ECE 22.06
o Snell M2020
o JIS T8133
o FRHPhe-01
o FRHPhe-02
• Must be within 5 years of date of manufacture
• Must be manufactured from fiberglass/Kevlar/carbon composite, Thermoplastic helmets are not acceptable
• Must have DD-ring type strap buckle.
• Internal visors are prohibited
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS: All competitors’ vehicles must carry a Fire Extinguisher. The recommended type is a minimum capacity 4kg DRY POWER extinguisher and MUST bear a current Inspection Stamp.
ON BOARD CAMERAS: Insurance cover has been raised to 10 million. A copy of Insurance policy (valid up to an amount of £10M) must be forwarded with entry form prior to the closing date for inspection, otherwise NO on-board cameras will be permitted. **NEW 2026 – Helmet cameras, of any size are not permitted
RESERVES: The Club can accept a maximum of three (3) reserves per class. Reserve competitors will only be eligible to compete after practise sessions if there are empty grid positions in GROUP 3 of the race grid. No competitor is permitted to change grid positions in group 1 or 2 of the grid.
CC’s and CLASS NAME: The cc’s and class names have been changed by the MCUI regarding the Pre 73 Classic races.
FYI: Race 4. is two races within one race, the LIGHTWEIGHT & the MOTO3/125. Race 4 – LIGHTWEIGHT RACE – (A) Inc Lightweight Supersport, 250GP & Classic GP, Supermono, Classic TwinShock, CB500 and running concurrently (B) Moto3, GP125 – 7 laps
** As in 2025 – Riders ‘Sign On’ will be available on Thursday evening from 5pm – 9pm to allow riders time to complete entry forms and next of kin details etc. Riders will still need to return to the race secretaries office with your scrutineering docket to collect your race permits on Friday (Practice Day) before going qualifying/racing.

What’s still relatively New :
The Supersport class is now called NEXT GENERATION Supersport.
The FIVE (5) races counting towards the Man of the Meeting are the SUPERTWIN 2 (Saturday), BOTH SUPERSPORT NEXT GENERATION RACES – Supersport Race 1, Supersport Race 2, the OPEN (A) RACE and the RACE OF LEGENDS Grand Final Race.
