Race Week Events 2025

Always popular is the Ride Out & Barbecue on Sunday 20th July.

Meet at 10.00 am at the Armoy Club Office (Main Street, Armoy) to ‘sign on’ and leaving at 10.30 am sharp.  The run this year will head along Drones Road to Cloughmills, Clough, through Rathkenny and on to Broughshane before stopping for a ‘gather up’. Head down by the Battery Inn onto Larne and take the coast road up to the SOLO garage where we’ll stop for fuel and a small break. Continue onto Ballygawley, Glenarm and Carnlough with a wait for a ‘gather up’ before heading home via Waterfoot, Cushendall and back down the coast to Ballycastle, then homewards to Armoy for a BBQ which will be held in the Armoy Race Paddock Barn. Cost is £10.00 per person.  Contact Joe O’Kane (077 3287 9536) for further information.

Church Service – Sunday 20th July.

There will be a “Race Week Church Service” in Armoy Presbyterian, at 6:30pm on Sunday 20th July, conducted by the club Chaplain, Rev Gary Glasgow.
The service is open to everyone, and it will be informal, with familiar hymns and a devotional address.
There is no dress code, and if anyone is on two wheels, they can attend in their biking gear.
It’s an opportunity to worship God right at the start of what will be a full and enjoyable week.
Armoy Presbyterian is located on the outskirts of the village at the T Junction of Drones Road and Gracehill Road.

Classic Car Display – Wednesday 23rd July

Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club will be visiting Armoy gathering from 6.00 pm. This year again the cars will be on display in the Station Road Carpark that is in the centre of the Armoy Village. All types of classic, rare and collectable cars and throw in somethings just that wee bit different and they can all be found in the village where a huge number of enthusiasts turn out to admire the scene and enjoy the craic. A lovely spectacle to see the classics doing a few laps of the Armoy circuit as the night draws to an end.

Classic Bike Display – Thursday 24th July

O’kane Motors, Armoy, welcomes the Coleraine Motorcycle Club & the Japanese Vintage Club in putting on a display of bikes from our racing past. Bikes will be on show outside Tilly Molloy’s in Armoy village from 6.00 pm. Another great night of village craic with a bit of nostalgia and whiff of burning oil as the bikes leave for a few laps of the Armoy circuit around 7.30pm.
